(October 2025) LA VERGNE, TN – EFP (Engineered Foam Packaging), a leading provider of high-volume molding, fabrication, and cold chain solutions, is pleased to announce the successful consolidation of its two former facilities in La Vergne, Tennessee, into a single, state-of-the-art location. This consolidation and relocation expands their operational room by 142,000 square feet.
EFP has been a respected leader in protective packaging, fabrication, and cold chain solution services since 1954. Upholding a tradition of innovation and excellence, the company excels in designing, prototyping, and manufacturing protective packaging and components. EFP serves diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, food distribution, appliances, automotive, and beyond.
Previously, the company operated one facility on Mason Road, which housed its robotic kitting automation line, and another on Corporate Place, home to its gel pack production lines, fabrication equipment, and Cold Chain Laboratory. The decision to consolidate was driven by a strategic vision to unify operations, foster collaboration, and strengthen company culture by bringing team members together in one location.
Ricky Campbell, Operations Manager at EFP’s La Vergne facility, shared his enthusiasm about this milestone: “Our move to the new location empowers us to better serve our customers with enhanced services and increased capacity. This expansion demonstrates our unwavering commitment to excellence and showcases our significant growth.”
The new facility, located at 313 Salyers Drive in La Vergne, spans an impressive 254,000 square feet. With the relocation, the Cold Chain Laboratory has grown to four times its previous size at Corporate Place, enabling the company to meet the evolving needs of its customers with enhanced capabilities and innovative solutions. “The expansion of EFP’s Cold Chain Laboratory has significantly enhanced our testing capabilities for the next generation of EFP products,” said Andrew Klasek, Laboratory Manager. “With the addition of advanced physical and thermal testing equipment, we can conduct more comprehensive evaluations while also creating a collaborative space to support clients throughout the qualification process.”
This expansion not only positions EFP to deliver superior service and increased capacity but also represents a commitment to supporting the local community by creating new job opportunities in the future.
