EFP Joins U.S. Plastics Pact Panel on Chemicals of Concern

We’re proud to share that our Director of Sustainability, Joe Grzyb, was invited to speak at the U.S. Plastics Pact Activator Action Summit, held in Columbus, Ohio. As part of the Tuesday Afternoon Sessions, he joined a distinguished panel for conversation titled:

“A Collaborative Discussion on Chemicals of Concern”
🕐 Tuesday, November 11th, 12:45 – 2:30 PM

Uspp

Moderated by Jonathan Quinn, President & CEO of the U.S. Plastics Pact, and Megan Byers, Program Manager – Circular Design, the session focused on the critical role of chemical safety in advancing a circular economy for plastic packaging. With growing public awareness and scientific research around emerging chemicals of concern, this panel explored the framework for evaluating and updating the Pact’s Problematic & Unnecessary Materials List.

EFP Director of Sustainability contributed insights on how industry leaders can work together to ensure packaging solutions are not only environmentally responsible but also safe for human health. Their participation reflects our company’s ongoing commitment to transparency, innovation, and leadership in sustainable packaging.

We’re honored to be part of this important conversation and to help shape the future of circular design in plastics.
